I don't know, seems silly to me. The nanny did it? Why?
I'm sure one would answer-ah, in a downtown home, they wouldn't have to go to the mailbox, but the fact of the matter is, an apartment is just as much of a home as owning an entire building and in downtown areas, this is often the case. Perhaps Sydney is different, but I am under the impression that it wouldn't be much different from any other major city. Thus, the nanny could very well have been walking down the stairs to the apartment entrance to check the mail. The next-gotcha moment would be, hey, the mail doesn't come on Sunday's but is the nanny there everyday? What if for some reason the mail wasn't checked on saturday? Perhaps they simply came back from out of town?
Sure the Nanny's a good enough answer, but so's the Gardener. Seriously? Planting FRUIT at a downtown apartment on a sunday morning? There was a handyman working on a shed on sunday morning? It all seems rather silly. Hence why no one really answered that one.
Honestly I was leaning towards gardener. Planting fruit downtown? So weird. I then thought perhaps the nanny and stopped thinking about it (and I freakishly didn't really notice thread until a few days ago-how odd is that?)
