ya I would, only while it was updating steam tossed an error and killed everything. Now steam isn't detecting anything properly, ie nothing eill run nor will it offer me some sort of repair/update, so now I get to re-install

bummer guys...every thing worked fine for me....the HL2 DM physics are very nice. not quite as good as HL2, but you can still use the gravity gun to hurl objects at your opponents. and you can actually stand on an object without falling through

hope those with problems can fix them soon

ya i was thinking steam screwed up, but im inpatient so I uninstalled everything (after taking an hour to reinstall source and finding it still wouldn't work). Now things are just peachy because I have to update the steam platform before I can do anything and of course I get "we are sorry, steam is temporarily unavailable" which also makes me think they screwd up with the update and are trying to fix it.
The only thing that really annoys me about this is I had just finished an awsome texture with a good alpha, it had a bump map and everything, and then it made me update and now I can't test my texture
EDIT: steam is still politely disobeying me so I have resorted to setting my texture as my desktop..its so pretty...

Few have finally popped up - still rather laggy though. Difficult to aim the Grav Gun with the slight delay.

first time i tried to play i had 900 o latency, the minimum i oculd get was 400

i've been able to find servers with pings of 60 and below...once they get full though, 90% of everyone in there lags, so even ppl with good pings lag as well. just wait a little while, and there will be plenty of servers

yeah if you look hard enough you can find some lagless servers (then i crack out the grav gun and go medievil on everyones sorry asses)
