well its not really a joke, you CAN vote for him. Well assuming you are 18, registered, and a member of the USA.

I think its great that a satirist is competing against the candidates. It really exposes how dumb the political theater is.

For some reason DrGlass i really like your name and have no idea as to why. I may just Ban you and take it for myself.

I have no real clue as to who this guy is but quite frankly democratic politics in most developed countries now seems to be a contest of populatity of Chracter rather then popularity of opinion as it should be. As such. I can well see this guy doing surprisingly well although I doubt he;d actually make president.

I think that maybe all us fools who don't really care who wins normally, because well, they are all as bad as each other will suddenly stand up and vote for him. I hope he gets elected, I think he could do great things.

He did say he was only running in South Carolina (ok I pulled that state out of my ass, I don't remember which one he said) which means I don't think he has any real chance of winning. I'm pretty sure he would make a great president though. I mean, relatively, who wouldn't?

wow, hopefully he can party fix some things...

Why can the Illinois congress not pass a budget but they can pass the "student reflection and prayer act" that requires a certain amount of moment of silence daily in schools...

My name will self destruct if it falls into the wrong hands.

I don't think an improve actor would make the best president, not by a long shot. But if Colbert gets enough attention he SHOULD be able to shine some kind of light onto the idiotic nature of campaigns and politicking. If you don't know who this guy is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa-4E8ZDj9s watch all parts.

I'm not here to piss in anyone's coffee, but this has to be said....

Stop picking politicians the same way you pick your celebrities.

Nobody knows what colbert's issues are, yet people are assuming that because he's funny that he'll do some good.

I'm all for entertainment. I'm not ok with assuming that someone entertaining should run the country.

Don't throw away your vote, guys.

Ron Paul 2008. He'll get rid of the IRS and bring the troops home, and he's already slaughtering the other candidates.

Why? Freedom is popular.
