DDOS On Interlopers

Postby ghost12332 on Mon Jun 02, 2008 11:05 pm

We must plan our attack. Muster our forces, proxies and all, and strike a fitting blow to the enemy.

Past revolutionary zealot schemes, Interlopers got a Denial-Of-Service attack when it was spammed with approx. 1.33 gigabytes of email in less then one minute. Full chatlog is available as an attachment, and it several thousand lines long.

Revision3 got DOS a while back, http://revision3.com/blog/2008/05/29/in ... -revision3

Even the best of sites get Denial of Service attacks, best just to let it go as long as it hasn't caused any long term effects.

It was just some douche bag that sent 1000's of emails and I hadn't set the correct email protection. Only happened once and won't happen again.

Yeah, there has been a lot of hacks recently. I heard Comcast Webmail was hacked (nothing really happened just a "gotcha" type of thing).

Hope it doesn't happen again especially because I use Comcast Webmail.
