Was I trolled?

Guys, let me describe a situation to you, and I'd like for you to tell me if I've been trolled.

Someone added me, I didn't know them, but it turns out we worked on a mod together a year or two ago, one that's now being turned into a game using the Unreal Engine (Age of Chivalry). We talked a little bit here and there, and then she randomly asks me one day "What's the top three games you want?" I, not thinking "Oh boy, someones gonna buy me games" said "____ _____ and _____" she said: "ok, I'll get you those"... I was like "OMG FOR REAL?" she was like "No, I'll get you your whole wish-list." then I was all "FOR REAL?" and then she said "No, I'm going to get you these two packs. "I was like... oh my god... you really don't have to, this is really nice of you." Needless to say I was all bright-eyed and blushing. She went on to tell me how she'd already spent 360 bucks on other random friends, really just to be nice around the holidays, and how really this purchase wasn't really a dent in her bank. So today comes, and she starts making sure she's getting the right things. She says "brb, going to the kitchen to get the card" (she wanted to get me battlefield bad company 2 Vietnam expansion, so she got me an ea card) so I wait, and wait, and finally after a few hours I message back "hello?" and she explained that she couldn't find me on her friends list... that something must be wrong. We both lol it off, and continue talking. She tells me she has to go to a link, then give me a code to redeem the card. She asks me again which packs it was, so I tell her. We sit there for a moment, she goes offline. I'm like "meh... connection issues perhaps." but then I realize she's not even in my friends list anymore. So I go and search for her on the steam group community, and she had changed her avatar. (two thumbs hugging each other) and when I tried to add her as a friend, steam said that "this persons account doeskin allow you to contact her at this moment" So I'm thinking... did she troll me that whole time... and then block me? Or is this just some strange issue. If this isn't the case, I don't want her thinking I removed her, she was nice to talk to, and she told me how she was having a few friend issues, which was odd because apart from the possible troll she seemed really sweet. What do you guys think?

Update: She had told me her name was Remedy. I go to her account, and it says "If you're looking for Remedy add "___""
