That could've been added to L4D1, if Valve supported that game. People are sheep for not asking Valve to fix what they break. I've read how many times this happened in the past to people while mapping for Half Life. Each time the community got so pissed they fixed it quickly. We're going on 10 months, now. Good luck finding a thread about it.
Why should they add all that L4D2 has to L4D1?
well, from a player that played both titles to death.. but has to play it with friends only with competitive mods like confogl on realism versus.. I can tell you l4d2 is faaaar from balanced.. it's rushed out.. and it's basically the same game with crap added
I'm not 'unhappy' that I bought the sequel, just unhappy that Valve didn't take more time to balance and tweak the game more instead of adding a bunch of stuff and call it a new game, the support is very very slow as well.. it's there.. but not Valve standard
Valve adding the l4d1 maps to l4d2 is just one of the many signs that tell you the community weren't ready for the second installment yet.. and now it has a low player base with a shit load of problems
