New games platform on the way!

Reading the patch notes for Bink Player 1.99W (they must be close to 2.0) i see this line:

Updated to later system SDK on a secret platform.

With CES next week along with PAX, and GDC events around the corner it looks like we might be seeing the Steam Box, or the 3rd generation xBox soon.

Then again maybe Sony's been doing some funny stuff in Fukushima and we might even see a 4th Gen Play Station.

i hope some new platforms are released so i can finally justify purchasing a playstation 3. i want to play journey, heavy rain, the uncharted series, resistance 3, and the last of us.

Jesus amckern, that's digging deep for info. Could just be talking about an upcoming plugin or engine though, I wouldn't jump to 'new console' that fast.

Platform sounds nothing like engine

The change log also talks about android, and current gen platforms, including Mac OS, so i suspect is either the start of the next gen of consoles, is either the Mozilla, or Chrome OS's (These are well known, and it would be discussed in the open if that was the case), or the Steam Box, not much left on the market, unless some strange business has chosen to to encode streaming video in BIK format?

Then again, has Apple gone crazy?

Just saying, it's not confirmed and Valve or Xi3 isn't calling it the Steambox or saying they are working together.
