I still shed tears for CRT's to this day.

LCD's were the worst thing to ever happen to (computer) displays.

I just wish more Widescreen CRT's were manufactured before LCD's took over, now you have to pay over a grand to get a decent widescreen crt :[

I can accept having less shades of black in my games/movies/porno's.

I'm not too upset about the blacks either, unless I'm playing a dark game.

What gets me is just the general dimness, the ghosting, the shit refresh rates, the fact that you have to worry about viewing angle. Native resolutions are also a mild annoyance, but nothing like the others.

The fact that it's impossible to get an LCD that approaches CRT quality, no matter how much you spend combined with the fact that nobody makes CRTs anymore is what really makes this situation depressing.

If you formerly had a good display and it breaks, you either have to get it repaired locally ($$$$) or accept a huge downgrade and buy one of the better LCD's on the market ($$$)
