hmm what type of elevator are you making just a 2 story or 3?

yeah, it works. The elevator I created was only 2 stories, but the processes you explained work as far as going up and down each of the 3 stories. My elevator was the model elevator, in which I added a button on each story outside the lift itself(still functioning button on the inside as well) that closed the doors and moved the lift. (Say the lift was on the 2nd floor and you're on the 1st, click the button and the elevator doors shot and it went down to the 1st floor then upon stopping the doors open.)
