Creating Decals

I seem to be getting a a white border around the image i create. anyone know of a way around this?

I seem to be getting a a white border around the image i create. anyone know of a way around this?


You might be better off posting this in the art/design forum.

One thing you can do is once you have mask/alpha channel made, turn it off and then color right along the very edge or use a push tool to push the border over what would the mask/alpha area. If you use like a the magic select tool then sometime you pick up on little border shit like that. I have trouble with this too. Working from images can cause this too since the back ground can blend with the edge of the area your trying to select. If you use well defined, crisp edges that will help.

This doesn't work for me, I still have the white background ... Uncompressed Texture With Alpha. Should I check another property down at the checkboxes?

I also tried saving as TGA (32bit, with RLE) but there's the white background there too.
