Great stuff something. Only gripes I have right now (which I'm sure you'll fix, but I'll say anyways) is the meeting point of the ground (in the foreground) and the collapsed tube thing. Some displacements with dug up/torn up dirt is sorely, sorely needed. Or a rock, or ruble, or anything that hides the merge. Also, I'm not very fod of the building edge running straight into the water, it seems to be putting a LOT of trust in their mason. I would suggest breaking the bottom bit into two brushes and replacing the texture on the bottom bit with a grate perhaps, but something more designed to deal with the water.

I know this is just nitpicking, but you're doing a good job and these little details are driving me nuts. I like the sprites, btw, they work great with the angle of the shot.

Thanks for comments.

To the previous post. This area was abandoned and when they built it, the water wasn't there. Yea, I haven't added many props yet.

Garrador: I used water/dev2. I guess its just good for reflecting.

Dang. Both my previous contest maps (Alexandria and Combine Mall) both have water in them. I'd use one of 'em, if they weren't already used in previous comps... :?

It's too late to contribute anything to this comp now; if my map hadn't crapped out and deleted itself I would still be in this. Oh well, maybe next time...

Superb work with the color correction on that! Never seen whatever it is supposed to be, but it looks great.

it looks fantastic, my only niggle is that it's very confused...i find it hard to see what the hell is going on, or what that thing in the middle is. Just out of curiosity, could you post a pic for refernce (that game level you were taking about)?

but yeah, it does look fantastic, and an ace job on the colour correction

You click on Build or type
make (or some equivalent), and you are astonished, then mortified, as you realize that the whole world is being
recompiled and relinked!
