hmm. ill take the points :P nah just kidding. well. can you split the points on two maybe?

I'm gonna vote for this. Just split the points on however many worked on the map (and are accepting the points).

Ok i updated the rules, i made up a formula which i think is better then just dividing the points.
If for example i had two mappers by dividing the points it would be:

10 points - 5 points each
9 points - 4,5 points each
8 points - 4 points each

which would be an almost negative score.
Using the forumla we get:

10 points - 7 points each
9 points - 6,5 points each
8 points - 6 points each

which i think is a more fair score, and representative of the quality of the map, and the work put into it.

a really simple way would be to not give them points now, but wait till they do another battle together, add up their points and give them half each. Depends on them doing another battle together though.

i think collaborative entries should be welcomed, if it brings in more results (less people not finishing cos of deadlines, time constraints etc)

if a double map is entered, i'd like the voting to take into consideration that 2 people worked on the map. so twice the quality should have gone into it. if that happens then im cool with it

map battle with teams sounds cool but many people have jobs, schooling and trying to get peoples ideas into a map when they arnt working on it at the same time would be hard.

Yes, it is. Any custom content can be used. I'm not sure if you need to have permission from the authors, since you aren't releasing the map as playeble, only as images. Can't hurt to ask anyway.

Well, I'd be up for entering this, but I also wanted to get a lot of work done on some other projects, so if anyone wants to make a team map with me, just let me know (I've got maybe one good idea too).
