Anyone know how to set this up for deathmatch classic since I can't actually find any specific files for it in my directory
Jus tthe GCF
I assume it shares most of its assets with half life

So far I have downloaded the fgd for DMC and pointed hammer to it. So I have a full list of entities. But otherwise I have no diea. I can;t even find any documentation on the net.

Oh my bad. So you got the fgd set up, does hammer show the entities in the list?

If so, good.

Now, you just set up Hammer properly.....
You know, point the directories to where the exectutable and the gameinfo.txt are (although I think it may be liblist.gam for goldsource games)

Your going to want to use zoners half-life tools.

I mean....it's all pretty straightforward, you just point the directories to where their description says to......whats the problem exactly?

The fact none of the directories seem to exsist.

I setup HL DM easily enough. I mean like you say. it's all pretty straight forward. DM classic just doesn't seem to have any of the correct directories.

I persuaded my friend into doing this for HL DM instead. So i'm just gonna do it there. cheers anyway.

Its the same thing as for CS:

But you need to extract all the content of the GCF to steamapps/steamlogin.. actually you just need the folders tree, but you will eventually need the other files so it saves you time ;P

You know something. I'd forgotten just hopw retarded worldcraft was for invalid objects.

Oh it's the exact same shape and dimensions of that object jsut flipped over. Sorry you're going to have to have a big fucking hole in the side of your structure.

I may be here for sometime.

If I can't get this to work I may have to drop out of the competition. because.

A: This piece is essential to my maps design

B: I'm pressed for time so can't afford to design a new map etc.

C: I just can't be arsed to draw a new set of concepts.

lol. I think my plan to abuse the fact these don't have to be playable and I have a beefy computer of death backfired.

This map just is not suited for gldsrc at all. but I made my bed and Now I will sleep in it. The show must go on!
