I think we should stop talking about it and start us another model battle! One that I'll know about in time to compete in.
And the models should definitely be released to the public.

Well, are people really that keen? I need a theme that's gonna have more than one entrant, or it's really not worth my time...
I have a good idea for a theme actually (or a t least,I think it's good), so I could start one soon.
Maybe that's the key - let people know that there's a battle coming up in advance (of course, without saying what the theme is)? Would that help?

Sounds like a good idea! trying hard not to sound cheesy but how about a Christmas/winter theme? like snowmen, raindeer and other obvious crap?

In the interest of getting this battle started, I suggest a series of era battles (or just one). Pick an era, any era, 1950's 1700's 500's, and have the contest be to model something that epitomizes that era.
