Adobe is a reddish brown brick and plaster made out of mud used by American Indians in the Southwest of the USA (and a bit into mexico).

ah I see.

I would have to say no on that one I'm afraid. It would look to much like concrete and or bricks. The trick is to make the texture look like plaster anyways, so that color and type wont be too hard to make plaster'ish if you know what I mean. Just use the same color and implent plaster elements.

The plaster material will be shown mostly on the second version though. Since that is wear and tear etc.

IF people join =P You guys were hoping for a new battle so feel free to join.

But I was the one who came up with the texture battle.

Garrador simply adopted it. :(

Huh? Stucco? Now, if the word "stucco" in English doesn´t have a vastly broader meaning than the word "Stuck" in German then i believe you´re wrong.

The outside of houses. Stucco can't support anything. It's just used for decoration. :/

Any takers? I won't be here Sunday night, so you've got until the end of Monday night to show us what you can do.
