I had to give my vote to Notary. Never seen anything like that before.

Not read/seen Lord of the rings then.

My vote goes to melvin, you kept it simple and yet created the most alien scene here. Nice work.

I hate to sound like an asshole, but Melvin's scene isn't very good.
It conveys a nice atmosphere but it comes accross as a bit lazy tbh.
Some really neat stuff could have been done with the alien thingy, the lighting could be MUCH better, it could have more than a simple brush based object, 1 displacement and 1 prop_static.

If you had of elaborated on it it might have been my favorite, but the effort just isn't there.

Notary deserves to win, the sheer amount of work put into a building that looks, frankly, fantastic.

Congrats to Notary, then! Good battle, lads. Some interesting stuff on a very challenging theme. I'll update the scores etc tomorrow.
