I assume you're seriously asking? I believe that the red particles are leaves fallign from the tree and the white is the snow, ready to take over the light!

I'm honestly not sure how you did the snow, my friend thinks its a texture on a dome. I think it could be a screen overlay. Or it could just be a particle effect with custom material I guess.......

Cremator's is already my background :D i thought they were red rose petals... Awesome juxterposition has a major feel to it... and the snow lokos like its stuck on a forcefieldish dome :D

Well, seeing how I won't get this finished anyhow, I might as well state my original idea. I thought of it earlier, before the map battle, and it was originally intended for a different theme. Well, with a bit of imagination I fugred I could get it into a juxtaposition map.

It was basicly revolving around the stairway to heaven and the highway to hell. I smacked up some concept art to give a feel of it:

I love Kremators just for the fact it's so original in its own way, rather then just another hl2 map. Great work. You gotz my vote. Oh btw Vcools is fantastic, should be a spot light!

Again I've managed to bring the compile tools to a grinding halt (happened in battle 21 as well)...
vbsp crashes when calculating collision data (I think).
And that ends battle 23 for me. I'm starting to hate this engine more and more everyday.
