Sorry lads, I'm on holiday at the moment and when I set this battle I wasn't expecting to be this busy. I'm posting from a totally different timezone and it's a little tricky ;) I feel it's only fair to extend this as I've been so shitty about keeping on top of it, and reliable WIP-showing people have requested it.

:D. They're both actually on the same map, the thing is the one is built on a rock wall the other on the ground so the objects don't use the exact same spot just the same area.

Well this was a map that ive worked on for 4 months :P and thought it would be good for the contest haha. But i learned how to clip better! and uh turkey day is near. Also i learned how to make grubs stay on a wall, i learned logic relays, which i should have been useing for the past 3 years of mapping... just started useing them. learned tonemap controls stuff like that :)

I learned that VRAD sucks.


VRAD likes to crash a lot for me. Despite the fact I do nothing wrong, also, if I CLICK on ANYTHING or ALT TAB or just really do ANYTHING while Hammer is compiling, it locks up, and switches over to "NOT RESPONDING" mode. The fuck is up with that yo.
