I like having limits to work within when designing. Having a competition based on a theme without constraints is not much of a challenge. I like battles that stress number of brushes, map size, number of props, light levels, number of rooms, types of weapons, types of enemies, etc. Something that pushes creative problem-solving.

No Props/Models of any kind (Just brushes)

Only Custom Content (Very hard for those of us who don't model or texture.)

Video Challenge (Maps made with the intent of being used in a video)

Map You're Computer (Take a pic of the inside of you're comp and map it!)

Specific caps on items i think is up to 904, since i could pull any sort of mapping cap out of my ass....
