I'm not entirely sure about that rule myself, but I know it's at least frowned upon to use work from before since it's like taking a shortcut basically.

If I have the time I might enter this. Of course I say this nearly every battle and rarely enter. Depends if I get a better idea than a tall corridor and if I have the time to make custom assets.
