Farles your such a talented young man, i wounder if you could model me some church benches ;P

HybridFlahs, i know you where jsut joking, but we all know how those kind of arguments usually end around here. Just want to kepp this thread clean, and try no to derail it(wich i'm doing right now)

i decided to make something for this batle, altough this one wont be submited

i made some mistakes while resizing it, and it ended up a bit to sharp. And trusth me it tiles, you can test it yourself :)

I got a bit of work to do on it, I.E. the pipes are pretty featureless, but I'm quite proud I did that from scratch. :-D

you could get a photo of some rusted metal, and overlay it with the pipes.. should give a nice fx :)

Thats semi made it better, but I was thinking along the lines of creating a bracket to hold the pipes in.

After the texture battle is over you should take them and put them in a texture pack. Then make it available on the front page.

just fine some photoshop tuts.. just google it :D and use the rules to bump and alpha channels.. i think there is some in the tut section on the site

maybe photoshop elements 2.0 could do it. Just need the adjustments and the clone stamp tool...

Here's a little remake of one of those textures. I don't know how textures work or how to get them into the game but I made it 512x128 just to stay with the mutliples of 8.
