Well, it's very, very far from finished, but I'm out of time so here are the final pics:

The original idea was a sort of run-down old mining town that had been taken over by refugees hiding from the combine. The water wheel was retro-fit and connected to the generators so they had some electricity (you can see the generators in the third picture, inside the building.)

I had so little time to work on it that I didn't even get the first building finished, so sorry for the poor quality. Still, I'd rather submit the unfinished work than throw the whole thing away, plus I'll at least get some points this way. :-)

looks good, but I thought that the generator had to be clearly visable in every picture. And also, those trees look oddly bright, maybe a light_env problem? You should use my tutorial  and is that the havanna sky? If so, then go here: http://forum.interlopers.net/viewtopic.php?t=4331

EDIT: nevermind, you already submitted your final pics, lol
well, just remember that next time then...

Actually, I did use the values from that thread! The trees did seem a bit bright, but I didn't have a chance or time to troubleshoot it. They are out in the open, in direct sunlight, so I guess they should be kinda bright. *shrug*

I think I might need to reinstall the SDK, I had a problem with some of the models turning up fullbright (and nto casting shadows) in my map for the last challenge, and it looks like that might be happening again, with the trees this time.

Does the generator have to be in every picture? I thought as long as it was used in the map and you could see it in at least one of the screenshots it would be okay. If not, I'll just kill the other two and just have to submit the one screenshot only.

Heh, I really hadn't intended on using wood again this time. But I had no idea what to do for this challenge until I saw a drawing of a waterwheel, then the idea hit me.

Maybe I'll have to make it a recurring theme for all my entries, assuming I have time to do any mroe of them that is. Could add an extra fun challenge to try and work some wooden structures of some kind into every map. :)

Half of the first image is taken up by a combine soldier and then 1/4 of the 3rd one is the same soldier zoomed out...?

I won't be entering this one, i don't have enough time to produce anything other than a rushed entry and i'd rather not do that.

Good luck to all involved...kolezan is currently my favourite

If you could put those most recent pictures as my final pics Barra. I don't think I'll get to do any more work on this competition.
