omg can't believe that cursed has so few votes... it's clearly better tbh. Even if he loses, his will still be better :D

p.s they are both great

Cursed definitly.

I live 20 minutes away from that tower, in my backyard compared to some other people.

I would've voted for cursed if the roofs of the buildings weren't so repetitive and plain. But it was a tough choice altogether.

And yeah, like XS^WoeKitten already said, he needed better screenshots.

i think both are amazing, and I would love to see them worked on, if even just to explore.

hm... what would you rather've seen, screenshot-wise? Unfortunately, I didn't really plan out my shots before/while constructing the scene, which was probably a mistake in hindsight. I've tried to capture the building in the context of its surroundings, but even then, there's not a single shot of the UN building in any of the pics I posted... oh well, something to remember for the next battle. (displacements? ergh... looks like I'll need to study up)

its close i was grittin my teeth when i voted it really coulda gone either way, because even with bad screens you can see curse-d's work and then with r-yell's it just looks good.

R_yell wins for the more convincing surrounding area, and better shots overall. Cur sed did a great Chrysler building, though.

The issue I have with cursed is that the surrounding area just looks repetative.

R_yell gets my vote, but the main cur_sed building looks good.

By the way, did either of you do these 'life size'? What kinda FPS?:)

R-yells is obviously life size you can see by his palm trees scattered about his map.

Why are there only two to choose from? A lot more people than that entered... :?

yup, mine is full-size. At least, the 9 blocks with the Chrysler at the centre are. The rest are in the skybox @ 1/16th scale.

cur_sed for me, although it's close. cur_sed get it as much for his painstaking recreation as much as anything. Shame no-one else finished, we had some interesting starts and quite a few were in. real shame dudes, gonna have to pick it up for the next.
