Map Battle 10: Famous Landmarks

Postby BaRRaKID on Sat Mar 18, 2006 8:26 pm

After another great battle, it's time for lucky number 10! This time we ask you to recreate a famous landamark. There are many options here, like the eiffel tower, the white house, the big ben, etc etc.
If you choose a not so known landmark please post a picture of it along with your submition, and if possible a site with a description of it (just to make sure it is a actual landmark)
The rules are the same of the last battles:

- Your map must have a famous landmark in it, and it has to be the main piece of the map.

- You can only post 3 screenshots, and you can only submit one map.

- When posting your screenshots, always explain if they are final or still wip.

- Additional mods like bloom mod and garrys's mod CAN'T be used, only HL2, HL2DM, CS:S, DOD:S and Loast Coast (or any other oficial mod) are allowed.

- You can't use any extra software (like photoshop for example) to enhance your screenhosts. Of course usual changes like resizing, croping, or adding your name on the images are allowed.

- You can use whatever custom content you want.

- The maps are judged according to their quality, so make them look the best you can.

- The maps don't need to be playable.

- Avoid posting your pictures with big resolutions, since the forum resizes them, and they may loose some quality.

The battle ends at the 1st of April, at midnight(24:00h) GMT

So gentleman start your hammers. Good luck everyone!
I've no sign
