I'm still here, I've just been on an over-night field trip to Atlanta, GA with my class (meaning I haven't been able to work on it over that time). I just got back late today (after 6 PM).

I did work on it alot the night b4 saturday (the day I left). I now have the rest of the lighthouse, the surrounding palisade, and the plaza (walkways and ramps to/from the beach (surrounding the palisade)). All that is left is the beach itself, and then its on to the... texturing, which will be the hardest part .

I may or may not post screenies b4 I start the texturing process (hammer shots) for those of you who don't believe I'm participating in this . You should be impressed...

Sorry for not finishing, what with getting engaged, writing my dissertation starting 5 days ago and working on a mod I'm quite pleased with myself for just getting this far

I'd have put more effort in if my pc could do hdr but since it can't there's not much point even trying to win one of these comps without it...

Actually sod it... I'll enter this one just so that it looks a little less like Jake's map won by default: if more people had put the time in he'd have won anyway tbh

Cheers dood... the 'lopers guys are welcome to submit it to the vote, like I said Jake is gonna win anyway. He deserves it, that wall is teh sex. This map was a great experience for me, I learned absolutely shed loads from making it and pushed hammer to its limits (its 10 faces off the face limit and six brushes off the brush limit).

I'll finish it off as a portfolio piece anyway and I'll show you all the best shot when its done. Might be a long wait though as I have more work on than any sane person should have to deal with.

I'm sure the second post of shots from Jake was meant as a final entry and in the day and a bit since your post I've managed to find a few hours to work on the colloseum... it's doing a full final compile now so if you keep the comp open for a little longer there will at least be two entries.

God dammit, I knew this was going to happen. I dunno how to post screenies, even hammer shots, and my map will apparently take many, many hours to compile... I'm afraid I am out of this . My map is nearly complete tho, all that is needed is some final details and a final compile and I am done. But that will not happen, because I have so much other shit to do and very little patience to wait for my map to compile.
