new forum suggestion

Just would like to suggest a map/creative ideas forums. Would be cool to for a place for people to leave and get map ideas. Every once in while someone gets on a mental block and post in the help section, which is ok I guess, but it would be nice to see such a place were all these idea can have the own home for later use.

I have a couple of map ideas that I would like share, since I will problably will not have the chance to work on them myself. I have 2 incomplete projects one paying, for my clan. Plus I have alot of texture work for someone else's map. Plus I have a project with JamesL when I get all this complete. So I will probably be til next year before I act anything I have in my head now.

hmm, an inspiration forum...might keep a lot of crap outta other sections, especially Mod Talk....i like the thought. people can brainstorm ideas without getting groundwork done, could be productive. but then again it might be thousands of crazy ideas that ppl get jaded & cynical towards, and all the good ideas are kept sectret lol (uh, like me lol!)

Ok, I'll start off with de_bigbrother. Personally, I hate big brother and was thinking of making a de map for CS:S of the big brother house, just after the season finishes and u basically go in there to bomb the place because big brother is a dick. I would've made this map myself but CS:S isn't updated on my mapping computer (which isnt connected to the net) and I don't wanna risk getting sued by big brother... Bombsite A would be the diary room, bombsite B would be the bedroom, CT start inside the hallways that have the cameras all over the place and the two-way mirrors(I've been in those, they're so cool!)
T's would start in the vent system or the games arena or something...

Have fun not making this map because you, too are scared that you will be sued.

Interesting suggestion, I am always reluctant to add more forums in case they get little use. Big board heavy forums annoy me, and I'm not sure if this would get a lot of use. I could be wrong.

Sounds like a great idea, a place where members could share and trade off ideas! You could find others who are interested in the same ideas and possibly collaberate with them, or inspire others. As long as it would get used, (which I wouldn't doubt) I think it sounds good.

Sure it will, there will be people everywhere suggesting that someoene recreate their school or bedroom...
