Signatures

I'll come right to the point:
I hate signatures. Not because i don't like how they look, but because they

1) make it harder to read topics / obscure the topics and
2) add to the amount of stuff i have to download when browsing the forums. Not that this is an issue, i just like fast websites. I don't need this overhead.

So i'd like to see a "don't show any signatures" option in my profile, as it already exists in every other forums software i've seen. The signature should be visible though when you visit somebody's profile.

If you don't comply to this request i'll enclose you with a gigantic cube tied to trigger_hurt! xD

One of the many reasons I should Ad-Block that image...

I think there's an option in your profile, "Allow Signatures" or something like that. Just uncheck the box next to it. Or, you could Ad-Block any of the images (if you use FireFox). I could be wrong, though.

Nope, there's only the option to attach my own signature to every post, but that's it. I could use the image blocker of my browser (which is not Firefox btw ), but in about 80% of the threads i'm visiting here pictures are necessary for additional information, like screenshots of a problem.

it would be nice for a worksafe theme that disables pictures and makes them urls in posts, and just doesn't show them for avatars. When you've got an Asian woman with giant bouncing tits running about your screen it tends to draw attention.

This would be like five mins to implement, so thats not a problem. The real problem, imho, would be more if theres a need for a "light" forum theme, which doesnt show avatars, sigs, smilies, only images as urls etc. Not that i would need one btw, but i can imagine other people would

Ha, lol, i didn't even know that this picture of the asian woman is an animation, deactivated animations here a long time ago. I really don't need to see all this nonsense, so could an admin perhaps post here if they'll add the functionality of not showing signatures?

If your using firefox2 you can right click and block the image from the site.
