Your name was only removed because we didn't hear you for a very very long time. You DID own the hosting and domain name though, and it was guesswork for us as to when it expired, which made life real hard. You didn't leave an alternate email address at all, so we just fired emails off to the one we had (the one you left on the forums as your contact email in your profile). With you not around and not in contact, we didn't have a choice but to just take over if we wanted to keep the mod alive. Couldn't have hurt to just send an email to one of us saying 'Hey guys, got no internet at home and can't work on the mod anymore. Good luck, heres the Website CP user and pass so you can admin it'.
I agree, I don't think that it would have been any different with you at the helm (or just being there full stop), but I think that maybe for us, knowing where you'd gone and stuff about the hosting could have made life a bit easier and maybe (just maybe) could have served to give us a better chance

Apologies for that guys... think part of the problem was also 3 house moves in amongst all this, one of which was a temporary thing where I had no net for 9 months. Yes I could have used an Internet Cafe, yes I should have said what was going on, but you learn from mistakes so apologies.

I think I remember you. I'd been a lurker for a while before I got my account, so our dates might not overlap though.
