Looks great - but has the tag line always been 'Half-Life 2 News & Tutorials'?

I thought it refrenced Source last time - as we're more of a Source mapping/modding/news/tuts community than just a HL2 one.

I was going to PM you Blink - but figured i'd put it out here to garner other people opinions.

It's a nice banner.

It used to say News and Design resource I'm pretty sure.

Either way, It's great.

Should really be Source News & tutorials, yeah.

There have been several changes to the site, but most of it was behind the scenes.

The reason for the tag-line change was that 'News & Design Resource' is a very vague and non-descriptive title to newcomers. I chose the current one because at a glance you know what the site does. I considered 'Source News & tutorials' but not only does that sound lame it's also very vague to someone who doesn't know what Source is.

Glad you like the banner though, you can grab the original screenshot if you want.

I think it's fantastic! But if I had to suggest a title it would:

Your Source for Source Sauce!

I, for one, don't like the new banner. I though the old one, with it's cool blues and greys, complemented the rest of the website much better. This new one is too bright, possibly, and I don't think the font is quite right either; it just doesn't seem to fit. Sorry if I'm sounding negative, or critical, or what have you, I just think the old banner was perfect.

Maybe I'm just getting conservative in my old age.

I like it, very nice pic and less commonly seen than the last one.

Also, nice to see the map spotlight has been updated. Not sure if that's new, but I only just noticed it.

I'll throw my 2 cents in here and say, I don't really like the banner. I'm overjoyed that the spotlight wa updated though! I just think, while the picture is great, it doesn't seem to fit the site. And the font... I'm not sure what I can ssauy but It seems a little bold on a sight that has a thin feel to it (especially in the forums). THat's probably not it because I'm horrible at matching colours and stuff but I miss the old one. Either way, it's just a banner. It's not like anybody got rid of anything major, right? (checks top bar for tutorials tab). I don't really care about the Half Life 2 News & Tutorials part. Although it seems to say were more of a News site then a modding community... That's it! Why not say "Half Life 2 Modding Community"!
That has a... lame ring to it . Soooooo. That's my 2 cents...
