First connection always hangs?

My first connection of the day to Interlopers always hangs, indefinitely. If I hit reload or select the bookmark again then it loads instantly with no problems. If I wait long enough without clicking any links I can get back to the timeout period, once in a while that happens while I'm composing a post. My DNS seems fine from this side, and I've even manually prepped the cache before with no effect. My browser is Firefox. I haven't observed any other sites doing this.

Before I start a disection, has anyone else see anything like this?
