Hey moderators/admins of Interlopers, is it possible to create a forum/category where everyone can make its own thread (like in the portfolio section) and post his pictures in their thread.
If anyone could create this I'd appreciate it because I took a lot of pictures lately that I'm willing to show of...
Also; photography is a great way to provide inspiration for level design etc... so maybe some members can get inspiration out of the photography forum...
Thanks, Punky.
edit: as 1447 requested I've now added a poll, so please vote :)

I know but its not the same, and it would get unorganized if everyone started posting his photo threads in there?

I dont see how a few photos require their own forum? Just post a thread in general discussion or something

Everytime I get outside and take some pictures, the selection I make contains about 20 photo's so thats not really few photos, but ah well, I'll just make a simple thread if you guys think it isn't necessary...

If there is enough photo freaks here on the site, it could work. It wouldn't be any fun if Punky got his own forum to post photos, but as he said, 100 photo-threads in the Art and design forum would be unorganized, to say at least.

Make a poll or something, and then we'll see who's interested.

how many years this site exists, how many photothreads? I seriously doubt everybody here was just holding back their photos because they didn't have their own thread to dump them in

Starting a thing like this might motivate more people...
It would be good to have all reference photos in one place.

Well depending on the outcome of the votes we could meet a comprimise and perhaps add a sub-forum under Art & Design. I think there are enough top level forums for now ;-)

What about a thread that is just kept well organised? This seems like you want it because you can't be arsed to organise a thread.

Code: Select all
PHOTOSETNAME:
DESCRIPTION:
LINKS (with short description):

Yeah, apparently there aren't too much photographers here on Interlopers or people that care to post their pictures, so lets just keep it with a thread than...

I feel that, if anything, interlopers should expand itself from just a HL2 editing site to MAP editing site in general. I guess there isn't much of a demand atm since not very many GOOD games have been coming out with a ton of modability, but it would be good to consider it in the future.

Besides, there's always deviant art.
