Think it would be better if there were just categories and then the community vote for anyone they like. As opposed to nominees and all that jazz. Everyone should get an equal chance to win.

That was a kind of bad example, seeing as TWHL actually have official awards for being helpfull in the community.

Heh it was merely an idea or an example to share. Personally I agree it should be a voted system by the public and the votes should be monitored so that you can't vote for yourself.

No we'd have one voting thread where a post would for example be;

Most productive: [member name]
Et cetera....

Then at the end just trawl through the thread and count up the votes.

I think just free nominations you can vote for whoever you want. Otherwise how do you decide who chooses the nominee's etc. It's fairer if it's just a free vote on whoever you want.

It's only really for a laugh anyway! It's not got to be like the Oscars.
