Mysql locked up on a query, which creates something similar to a traffic congestion. Seems common to phpbb3 for a lot of servers, may also have been me, because i've had an invalid query at some point executed. Nevertheless, no query should lock up a database, therefor a mysql bug. I couldn't reproduce the error using my faulty query, nor on lopers nor on my local server, so its probably been phpbb or a combination of the two.
