I am sorry gents. I have been working on it as often as I can. Been adding cool javascripty stuff very recently to make it nice to use. The admin area is all styled and so is most of the map stuff.

to refer to the first post of this topic (the 'Great Maps' thread): does anyone know a link from which I can download the map dm_platform (by 'DeViouS[.dll]' or something similar), which is (or was, 6 years ago) supposed to be jawdropping good?

Just a thought on this... The spotlight on the home page could pull from the database of the Great Maps section and post one at random every week. That would eliminate the need to keep updating it.

As for the great maps section, it would be interesting to have people submit maps as nominations. It would also be interesting if you could not nominate your own map. I just don't like the idea of trying to tell someone my work is great, it sound a bit conceded. But the second bit would counter any bias. Each entry could then be put into a poll with a yes or no answer. Everyone tests the map and plays is and chooses if it is worthy of being "Great" then into the thread it goes...

That's just my thoughts.

I think the years of bumping this thread has shown that it won't work, not then, not now.
