No worries, I didn't know what the limitations were on what you could do.

When I get a chance I'll see if any users are reporting the same issues on the phpBB site. Might be a easy work around

I also noticed that when going to the error checker, it causes me to become logged-out when I go back to the rest of the site.

Auto login. Do it!

This simply does not work for me. I've remained logged in on other forums for stretches of up to year but this forum simply doesn't allow me to stay logged in past my session. I'ved tried clearing the cookies set by the forum via the link at the very bottom but it has absolutely no effect.

Perhaps try clearing them manually through the browser
