Progressing slowly.

Yeah, that is just my old village copied together, but this time that mass of brushes has no impact on the reaction time of any local manipulations. :)

This thread made me try out the Sketchup 7. Only problem is, how do I turn on a correct grid for L4D/other source maps? Like, 32x32 etc.
I call it DMV. Call it pointless~~

Sorry to revive a seemingly dead thread, but it's a sticky so whatever.
I went on your site, Generalvivi, and tried to download your sketchup tutorial but it seems the link is down.
If you read this, do you/does anyone have a mirror?

All of his tutorials have been down for a while. He's said he's going to re-upload them sometime but he never has yet! Do it Vivi!

Thanks, I tried but I'm pretty sure the file was hosted off-site. Hopefully he re-ups it soon, I'm really curious!

Oh, sorry for the late reply.
I created large portions of them in Microbrush when it was not yet that feature-rich (couldn't yet handle texture assignments, entities and the like), and a friend used these parts in his maps, that's why his name is usually first in the map names.

You should take the player back up onto the street in layout 3, somewhere halfway through, to let them know they're going the right way. This is why those underground levels in ep2 sucked; there was little indication that you were making progress, save downward physical progress.
