I did a search on constraining phys objects with rope, it turned up a tutorial about hanging a ragdoll from a rope. The tutorial seemed to work fine for HL2, but not CS:S. If I compiled and ran the map for CS:S the ragdoll would simply fall to the ground as soon as the map loaded.
I figured this was a result of cut down physics for multiplayer, is there any way to retain this property for counter-strike?
Anyways, the reason I am asking is because I wanted to build a rope bridge which will behave somewhat realistically. I'm using small segments of rope with wooden planks (phys box) being constrained along the length of the rope.
