Pre fab props and such

Postby malfador on Wed Nov 10, 2004 8:18 pm

Ive got a few questions:

First I dont have any of the pre fab props, such as barrels, car, chair, office desk that I am under the impression are available. I followed the tutorial in setting up the SDK. Is there a folder I need to point something to in options???

Second: I would like to open the other CS: S maps so I can copy and learn from them, first of all is cutting/pasting from original maps frowned upon? If its ok and I alter things and or give credit where its due, how do i convert finished BSP files to VMF so I can have at it.

Third: Could you do a tutorial on a skybox, I just cant seem to get it.

Last: Ive done all of your tutorials Cr4ig, thanks allot I think they are the best out there especially for beginners, Ive never tried my hand at this and am finding it quite addictive.

No Ive had this since CS S beta, and since the SDK was free I downloaded it and after I got over the intial learning curve have been addicted to it ever since. So no leaked version here, you think they will release the pre fab stuff when HL2 comes out? Will there be an online repository?

And anyway to convert BSP to VMF

Thanks again man!!!!!!!!!

Isn't de_cbble in the Hammer's "Save" files? I saw it when saving my first map. I can go see if it works.

EDIT://Holy crap, it's there, and it's crazy complicated. At least, it is to me.\\
