Crash issue when parenting particles

Ok, i am having a little issue with a model and particles; In short it's basically a box with a light on each face which i require particles to emit from; I put bones in each corner and specified it as attachments in the models QC, but ingame the particles all spawn in the center of the map; As an attempt to workaround this i created 6 info_particle_system's and used a trigger_once to attach them to the model in question. Unfortunately this makes the map crash; I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and/or knows anything about fixing it;
