Possible Artificial AFP?

I know,I'm making ANOTHER post about portal, but I have another question. If you were to use a func_rotating and give it an AFP texture and put a tirgger_jump above it. When the jump is triggered, the rotating moves forward, just for animation(but the rotating function isn't required). Will this work?

EDIT: Also, this is only if you dont have portal 2 for PC, I have it for xbox 360, but not for PC. So if you only have Portal 1 and want artificial Ariel Faith Plates in your map, will this work?
