hl2 has the materials separated into their own .vpk called dir_01materials.vpk or something the like.select the folders you wish to extract.
If I wanted to move just sounds then I would select the sounds folder and right click > extract to the root folder of your mod or game*If you want to move everything then select materials, models, and sounds.**CS:GO uses a slightly different particle version (.pcf). I am not sure if other game's particles will be compatible with certain other games***In your case the folder you'd want to move to would be located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgoIf this was done right then those models and textures should show up in the cs:go sdk
This will not work the other way around e.g. cs:go models in the ep2 editorI think
