Odd holes in brushwork

No clue what's going on here. The holes are solid and act like the rest of the brush. They don't flicker. It only occurs on the larger brushes.

The compile log and console come up clean, no weird vertex errors. Any ideas?

Not a rule or anything like that but sometimes microbrushes and many brush junctions (like of those railings weren´t set to func_detail) can cause similar behaviours.

It might be the railings. The other time it happened was around another railing like it. No microbrush errors though, and they're func_detail.

Also, the triangles change shape when I change things around it, like when I set the railing to detail.

EDIT: I switched out the brushes with models and the triangles disappeared.
