Gravity

Unsure how to change both the gravity for the player and prop physics. I have tried using point_servercommand and a logic_auto to trigger the sv_gravity command, but only the gravity for the player changes.

This is the gravity of the Earth, am I supposed to execute that as the parameter for sv_gravity?

I was trolling you, couldn´t resist. I take you already read this? https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Gravity Seems to cover what you´re asking for.

Does not seem to. I have tried using a point_servercommand to change the sv_gravity parameter (and also using a logic_auto to trigger the command), but only the player seems to be affected. I am trying to get both the player and the props to be affected without having to enable sv_cheats 1.

Keep in mind, this is on Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

I think your entity is point_clientcommand, but i may be wrong. BTW there´s no point on using it unless you nailed the command that makes gravity work the way you want. The point_clientcommand only automates what you could do in the console, manually.

Use a Trigger_Gravity with the value of 0.2? Set the flags to affect clients and physics props.

This might be useful too: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wik ... er_gravity

Yes the trigger_gravity affects players, but it does not affect props. The phys_thruster will work, but only on assigned prop names.

There still seems to be no way to change both the gravity of the player and physics props without manually typing in sv_cheats 1.

EDIT:

trigger_vphysics_motion seemed to work well for props.

In one of the latter levels of this mod:
Mistake of Pythagoras
There is a place where all props in a field stop moving. Maybe you can look at how they did it? It's after visiting one of the alien worlds.

EDIT: Here's a trailer of it, http://www.moddb.com/mods/mistake-of-pythagoras
