Weapon help

ok, I already got some help with this, but I wanted to know if this was the method everyone used in this situation. I was messing around trying to make a map similar to awp map, but I couldn't find an entity to place for the weapons that you could pick up. I finally created an entity, went to its properties, manually typed in weapon_awp and then ran the map. There was an awp there and I could pick it up. Problem is after I created it in the editor, I couldn't move it, modify it, delete it, or even click on it. I now know how to at least delete the entity if needed, but is there an easier way to do this? Is there a way I can select these weapons after they are created so I can move or change them? Thanks in advance.

Map>Properties click the entity then click go to. Close the dialog box. In 1 of the 2d views it will be highlighted then just move it where u want it.
