I don't know if this ha been posted or not, but there is a great LiveJournal community for urban explorers called abandoned places (http://community.livejournal.com/abandonedplaces/), which has the most impressive collection of urban ruins photos that I've ever seen.
Here are some that I've selected, and which i think will serve as inspiration for a lot of maps:
Abandoned Manor
Abandoned Castle
Factory of 19th century
Abandoned Toy Factory
K3
Yorkshire Brewery
South Fremantle Power Station
Abandoned Brick Kilns
The Enrichment Plant
Daniels, an abandoned mill town (scroll down for the building pics, the first ones are just tombstones and nature shots)

Also check this profile every now and then since it has some of the best pictures http://thehoodwatch.livejournal.com/ (the pics are down now for some reason, check back again in a few days)
I've no sign

Hmm, many of these images aren't showing up for me. The maps I'm planning on building will consist %100 of dilapidated structures and I need all the resources I can find.

Locationworks' 'Derelict' section. The rest of the site is just as useful, for non-derelicts!

There's a lot more and for different categories (churches, parks, buildings, etc.), just click there:

"Kategorie" at top of the page means categories ^^

Wow, this looks 99% Source + 1% Photoshop.
I just couldn't believe this is a real picture.

Protip to all mappers:

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD REMEMBER THAT GRAFFITI WRITERS ARE NOT NINJA'S!
They do need something to stand on underneath where they put the graffiti

/rant.

It just annoys me when i see graffiti in extremely hard to get places. for example; on the second story of a third story building with no ledge underneath and the ledge across from it being too far to lean from. please, look at reference pics of graffiti and realise that we are not ninjas! we can't just hug walls.
