L4D music

I've been playing L4D since it came out and all.. And everything seemed to work as it should until lately when the ingame music suddenly stopped playing. No more tank music pre-mod music, just dead silence.. Anyone else have this problem and/or know how to fix it? I've checked music volume in options and it's not set to the lowest or anything.

Sometimes music bits will play over other ones for me.

Done. Didn't work.

There is just no music, nothing, not when I have succesfully entered a saferoom.. Not when a campaign is completed... Nothing.

But if you reinstalled, shouldn't be a problem.

actually. this might be caused by a VPK you have installed (custom content)
if not - look into reinstalling / updating your sound drivers. some makes do that.
