KF-Departed a Killing floor map (Mapping competition map)

So, me and a friend (Zerreth) have been slaving away to create a map for the Tripwire Interactive mapping competition (has a 10k dollar prize for the 1st place) for Killing Floor

So hereby Zerreth and I proudly present: KF-Departed

Over 300mb of custom content, actually almost everything in the map is custom made by Zerreth and I as most of the standard props in the game just weren't up to the standard Zerreth and I wanted.

KF on the ol' UT2K4 engine was immense. Pity I can't run the new version, I've been playing it since 1.2

Don't have KF, so can't try this, but from the screens and video it looks awesome

Hey guys, some small update, we ended up 2nd in the competition. It was quite close to the first, but we lost with 1 point out of a 100 :'(

I really like this map, icebreaker gave me a headache after round 3 of it because of the huge amount of swaying.

Right, I've finally been able to get a chance to play it.

I have to say, while to begin with the lack of different trader locations and style didn't really work for me at first, it rapidly grew on me. Forging forward with my team to the train tracks and holding there was an immense experience, with some awesome spots for lone wolvery - the beams between the two factory buildings were wicked fun to snipe from.

It's a brilliant map and fits extremely well with the lineup. Well. Fucking. Done. I love it.
