Steam shutting down November 2009? Wha?

Postby AverageJoe on Sun Oct 04, 2009 9:36 pm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_%28content_delivery%29#Lawsuit

Just browsing around and found this. Does anybody have any more information regarding it?
I think some troll must of put that in there because there are no references for it.
Anyone else know something?

"As of November 2009 Steam will shut done..." that grammar mistake kind of makes it lose credibility. There aren't any references nor has there been news, so my guess is that it is BS.

Yea, STEAM is one of the biggest distribution platforms available. It wouldn't be profitable to shut it down, not to mention the outcry from everyone who has games on it.
