Borderlands

Anyone else down with the funk? It's coming out realllllllly soon and DLC has just been announced.

A serious description of the game: http://xbox360.ign.com/dor/objects/9572 ... gamer.html

But, even more seriously, it's a game about guns. And it's cool. And you should get it.

I WANT TO BUY IT BUT I DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY!!

Is that enough hype?

Seriously it looks EPIC.

If I have learned anything over the years, don't trust the hype. Wait a little, scour the forums and read critical reviews.

DLC announced before it's even released? Why didn't they just include it with the game? Oh yeah, money.

The game looks quite cool. Would have to read reviews before buying it, although my girlfriend got to play it at a conference and said it was great.

Isn't Dragon Age: Origins doing the same thing? They have 2 DLC's coming out the second it's released which is just stupid. Instead of including it in the game you're making them pay for it if they want it. The only way it would be alright if the game and the DLC's include a massive amount of content that's more than many games out there now. Otherwise there's no excuse for not including it in the game on release.

I'll trade Dragon Rising for anything.

And I need a new game before MW2.

A lot of games do this for the main reason that it takes ages for the game to go from finished product onto the shelves but now thanks to digital downloads they can carry on working on features during this time and add them as dlc on the release date meaning you get more content on the release of the game. Although most of the time developers have done this they release it for free but whatever.

I've liked the sound of it for a while but now I'm not sure so I'll be playing it at Euro gamer to see if it's good enough. I laughed at Gearboxes YouTube videos, especially the Spy Box 2.0 ;D They seem like a fun bunch.
