The game looks quite cool. Would have to read reviews before buying it, although my girlfriend got to play it at a conference and said it was great.

Isn't Dragon Age: Origins doing the same thing? They have 2 DLC's coming out the second it's released which is just stupid. Instead of including it in the game you're making them pay for it if they want it. The only way it would be alright if the game and the DLC's include a massive amount of content that's more than many games out there now. Otherwise there's no excuse for not including it in the game on release.

Bioware usually makes their DLC's free after time. Bring the Sky Down for ME wasn't free when it came out, but eventually they made it free. I was looking forward to Dragon Age until I saw the first gameplay video. I was hoping the combat was gonna be like Oblivion but better. Instead it's all command-like and shit where you just watch your characters do shit instead of you controlling all his moves. I mean, even WoW's combat looks more intriguing.

Borderlands is coming out this Monday, so I'm just going to wait until I get word of its success/failure.

I got this game on Friday but haven't been able to play co-op yet. The first night I really got into it to the point where I was really itching to play it again. Last Monday however I got back to playing it (couldn't play it over the weekend) and it just felt really lame, my main gripe at the moment was I thought it was going to be more FPS than RPG but so far it seems to be the other way round, your very much aiming in the direction of your enemy pressing fire and taking hitpoints off your enemies based on your level etc. Other than that there is no real need to use tactics such as taking cover (which in my personal opinion I'd prefer).

I think some people will really like it and I admit collecting new weapons is quite addictive I'll also hold my full judgment until my friend can be bothered to play co-op with me

This game is goddamn awesome. I've been deep in it for the past few hours and loving every second of the experience. Beautiful graphics, the guns are all awesome (and there are indeed a bazillion of them) and I generally like the implementation. The driving is a bit weird (I really really don't like steering with the mouse) and it's odd that fauna/animal enemies drop ammo and money, but other than that I have no complaints so far.

Gazaraz, how do you survive not utilizing cover? If I don't, I get killed within seconds because of the enemies with weapons that sap your shield and whatnot.

It's ONLY fun on co-op to me. I beat it last night (I have it on xbox) and I did co-op the whole way through except for 1 or 2 hours that I did some challenges by myself on. Collecting weapons and such gets old after a while. It would have been nice if there was some sort of upgrade system where you can add new parts to your weapon and change out elemental damage modifiers. An armor system would have also been nice so you could customize your character more. Collecting new weapons and having your skill tree how you want isn't really enough to keep you busy for more than a week.

It's definitely worth a play through on co-op with your friends though. If you're just getting it to play solo, I wouldn't bother.

Also to depress you a bit, the ending is very disappointing. It's not really bad in terms of story, just disappointing.

Like I said I haven't been playing it all that much it could be that the game is still babysitting me through the beginner levels (I'm around level 15-ish).

Got this game recently, not really expecting much, wasn't really to impressed to start with but once i started getting use to the weirdly sensitive aiming and uber high space jumping i started having some EPIK FUN! Then a friend joined in and it was great. Surprisingly entertaining. :smt023

Oh, played this with 4 players on a LAN, it is such a blast with friends, but it sucks in singleplayer.

Über bump, but I don't mind, it's still relevant.

Everyone says it's boring in single player

I enjoyed the parts I did in single player and multiplayer.

But after I finished this game I got bored with it.

Awesome easter egg:

That's exactly what I play.

Singleplayer still sucks.

I found single player pretty enjoyable as Hunter... but yeah, playing it with friends is better.
